Na2 is widely used in scale and corrosion inhibition of industrial circulating cooling water systems such as electric power, chemical industry, gold treatment and chemical fertilizer, medium and low pressure boilers, oilfield water injection and oil transmission pipelines; HEDP · Na2 can be used as metal and non-metal cleaning agent, peroxide stabilizer and color fixing agent in bleaching and dyeing industry, and complexing agent in cyanide free electroplating industry in light textile industry.

Generally, the concentration is 2-20mg / L for scale inhibitor, 20-100mg / L for corrosion inhibitor and 1000-2000mg / L for cleaning agent. It is usually used in combination with polycarboxylic acid scale inhibitor dispersant.
